While tie-dye is (and always will be) a DIY activity we fully endorse, it’s also become more popular than ever in the world of fashion. From runways to real-life, this technique has gotten a stylish makeover and is definitely having a moment.
Although tie-dye techniques (like batik and shibori) have been around for centuries, tie-dye as we know it grew out of the hippie movement of the 60s and 70s, and then became a staple of summer camp activities. From casual loungewear pieces to activewear, shirts, skirts, shoes, and accessories, this fabric treatment is everywhere. So to get you in on the action, we’re bringing you all our favorite shop-able tie-dye styles for men and women (all under $100).

To dress things up a bit, go for in a camp collar shirt in shades of green or a punchy burnt orange button up.
