The Best Sauces & Seasonings at Target (For Quick & Easy Meals)

Cooking up a quick, delicious meal doesn’t have to be difficult. (No this isn’t an April Fools!) Sometimes just having the right sauce or seasoning mix is all you need to make a meal quickly come together. And today, Zach is sharing a list of some of his flavorful favorites to grab on your next Target run!

When I’m throwing together a quick weeknight meal or knocking out some meal prep for the week, having the right sauce or seasoning can make the whole thing a lot easier. Whether you use it as a marinade for grilling, a sauce for stir-frying, or just drizzled on top, these options will add the flavor to every meal.

Butternut Squash Pasta Sauce

One of the easiest meals you can make on a busy night is some pasta. Sure you can go with a classic marinara sauce, but if you really want to step it up then try this creamy butternut squash sauce. The sage brings tons of savory flavor while the touch of honey adds just the right amount of sweetness. I suggest mixing it up with macaroni or cavatappi – any kind of pasta that will hold the sauce well. Top it with some grilled chicken and a side of roasted asparagus for a delicious meal!

Chimichurri Seasoning

If you’ve ever tried chimichurri sauce then you know how good it is. This spice mix packs all the same flavor in a convenient dry seasoning. I love to sprinkle it on top of a steak before grilling. For any vegans, it’s also great sautéed with mushrooms and then served on top of some grains.

Panang Curry Sauce

One of the easiest ways to meal prep is to toss some chicken and veggies into your Instant Pot and make a curry. This peanut-based sauce is perfect for that. Mix it up with the chicken, add just enough broth, and then pressure cook for 2 hours at low pressure. You’ll get tender, delectable chicken and veggies ready to be spooned on top of some rice.

Lime Crema Sauce

Ready to step it up on your next Taco Tuesday? This sauce will do the job! My favorite way to use it is on top of some fish tacos. Grill up some mahi-mahi, add a little lettuce and radishes, and then this sauce will bring it all together. It’s also amazing drizzled on top of a burrito bowl or a big plate of nachos!

Everything Seasoning Blend

It’s basically an everything bagel, just without the bagel. This seasoning blend is all the flavors you need to bring your breakfast up a notch. Scramble up some eggs and then sprinkle this on top at the end for an easy breakfast. It’s also perfect on top of a benedict or to add some extra flavor to avocado toast.

Mongolian Garlic Sauce

When I’m not sure what to make for dinner I usually end up going with a stir fry. I chop up whatever veggies are in my fridge, add a little chicken or shrimp, and then toss in some leftover rice. This sauce is the perfect addition to any stir fry. Heat it up in a pan or wok and then add in your veggies and meat so that you get a nice glaze on them. It’s also a great marinade for salmon before tossing it on the grill.

Umami Seasoning Blend

For any vegans or vegetarians out there this is a must have. Umami is another word for the savory flavor that we usually associate with meat, but this blend packs the same punch from just dried mushrooms and some other spices. It’s an amazing addition to any broth or stew that you want to have that rich, umami flavor. It’s also great for seasoning sweet potato fries in the air fryer!

Honey Pecan Wood Smoked BBQ Sauce

I don’t think I need to talk up how useful a good BBQ sauce can be. This honey pecan version is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. I love to use it for a BBQ chicken flatbread. If you want to make it a little healthier you can get a frozen cauliflower pizza crust to use it with. It’s also amazing tossed with some air fried wings or some ribs!
