Bobby’s Bookmarks: Our Favorites That We’ve Been Bookmarking This Week

It’s Friday (and the first day of November already!) so we’re back with more of the best things we’ve been bookmarking this week. And while it may be getting dark sooner, these links could definitely help to brighten up your day.

This week we’ve got a collection of inspiring spaces, places and products, including a colorful Parisian apartment; an easy pour paint can, a modern Italian hotel; a fluffy fleece jacket, cool candles and a gorgeous desert escape. We’re also sharing Bobby’s appearance this week on Strahan, Sara and Keke, where he sat down for an interview and got into the Holiday spirit a little early with some Holiday hacks!

Gettin’ Crafty

We know Halloween just happened, but it’s never too early to start thinking about the upcoming holiday season. Bobby stopped by Strahan, Sara and Keke to share three simple holiday hacks to spruce up your space for the season. From greenery filled ornaments to natural napkins to easy light up trees, check out these fun ideas and get ready to get festive!

Table Talk

Finding the right coffee table for  your space can be a challenge, so when we spotted this simple and sleek glass version, we knew we had to share it. The oval shape is an interesting detail, and for under $200, it’s clearly a great deal.

Perfectly Pourable

Have you ever wondered why paint cans are so hard to open and pour? This new lid from Behr is about to change that. It’s made of recycled plastic, and comes with an attachable pour spout and cap to easily close when you’re done. Finally, no more messes or dripping paint!

Paris in Color

Architect Sophie Dries renovated this Paris apartment in a modern mix of unexpected cheerful colors, from rich reds and oranges to bright blues on floors, walls and furnishings. It’s totally sophisticated, yet playful, and of course trés chic.

Good to Groom

These grooming products, from Target’s Goodfellow line, have the look of an expensive brand, but with a much smaller price tag. And with cologne, body wash and lotion in scents like Moroccan Mint/Cedar and Juniper/Sandalwood, they’re the perfect fall addition to your daily routine.

Fresh Fleece

Fleece is popping up everywhere this fall- from pillows to pullovers. Here’s a simple and stylish jacket to get in on the craze, and it’ll only cost you $40.

Brooklyn Beauty

When an architect designs their own home, you often see a creative mind run wild- Jess Thomas’ home is just that. The co-founder of Shapeless Studio created a mix of modern furnishings with period details and painted every room a different muted color. Its a total designers dream home.

Desert Dreams

We’ve been desert dreaming about Posada, just outside Tucson, Arizona and Saguaro National Park. The adobe style Inn consists of 5 suites all decorated in a cozy, but earthy style, complete with fireplaces and luxurious bathrooms. It’s the perfect relaxing escape before the rush of the holiday season.

Back to Black

Yesterday we shared some spooky, black spaces and accessories to get you in the Halloween spirit. Here’s another item that’s delightfully frightful- This charred root sculpture has definite moody vibes and would look great as a modern, organic accent piece year round.

Design: Chzon

A Venice Twist

Il Palazzo Experimental is a new hotel in Venice that mixes modern decor and Italian style to great effect. Designed by Chzon, there are elements of Art Deco, 70s Modern and 19th Century Italian Palazzo all interwoven in a palette of muted red, pink, blues and greens. It’s unexpected, totally experimental and definitely on our wish list for a future visit.

Very Cool Candles

Made the same way since the 16th Century, these Japanese candles are super sculptural and would make a beautiful addition to your dining table (or thanksgiving table setting).

To Have and to Hold (Your Stuff)

We’re always looking for great containers, bowls and catch alls to hold everything from q-tips to quarters.  This one, a ceramic bird that’s got charm to spare, is a great option that will only set you back $12.
